Senior Direct Response Video Editor Job Overview

This role is a high-level creative opportunity for an elite direct-response video editor to produce impactful work and drive business results in the e-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce approximately 10 high-quality short-form videos per day, adhering to predefined scripts and styles.
  • Analyze prior video metrics to enhance performance bonuses and increase views and conversions.
  • Apply direct-response copywriting principles to review scripts and improve engagement.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, efficiently managing workload to meet deadlines without needing frequent check-ins.
  • Learn and master new tools and software, as well as editing techniques, as social media trends evolve.
  • Ensure every video meets quality standards and aligns with provided instructions, minimizing revisions.
  • Maintain clear communication with the executive team, providing updates when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with direct-response copywriting for short-form videos.
  • Proficiency with professional video-editing software, such as CapCut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with video generation tools (HeyGen, Captions, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Strong English skills for clear communication.
  • High agency and autonomy, with the ability to thrive without micromanagement.
  • Rapid learning capacity and enthusiasm for the fast-paced landscape of creative tools and social media trends.
  • Attention to detail, following instructions and striving for accuracy.
