IT Operations Specialist Job Overview

The role of IT Operations Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end users within the organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage user accounts, groups, security configurations, and access controls within Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users' hardware and software issues.
  • Respond promptly to user inquiries, diagnose, and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Assist users with software installations, updates, and configuration settings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT infrastructure.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and create accurate documentation of IT procedures.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks, projects, and assignments as assigned by IT management.
  • Liaise with external vendors to coordinate support and troubleshoot issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and ability to troubleshoot related issues.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, including user management and security configurations.
  • Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation and configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong customer service orientation.
