As a Paraplanner, you will be working closely with our team to prepare and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting advisors in creating detailed financial plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Conducting research on insurance products, financial concepts, superannuation, and tax strategies to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Preparing and analyzing financial needs analysis reports to support the development of personalized financial plans
  • Collaborating with advisors to identify suitable investment strategies based on client goals and objectives
  • Attending client meetings to present and review financial plans, ensuring clear communication and understanding
  • Gathering necessary financial information and documents from clients to inform their plans
  • Reviewing and interpreting legal documents related to insurance products to provide expert advice
  • Managing and updating client information in our database to ensure seamless service delivery

Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and numerical skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should also have a strong desire to learn and develop your expertise in financial planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role in the finance industry is preferred
  • Accounting or related experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong comprehension, logical reasoning, and analytical skills are essential
  • Excellent mathematical skills, with comfort working with numbers and calculations
  • Familiarity with legal documents related to insurance products
  • A desire to become an expert in financial planning and preparation
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in calculations and materials prepared
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and negotiation
