Cloud Support Specialist Opportunity

This role presents a chance to become part of a specialist solutions provider with over 23 years of experience in managing and optimizing messaging, communications, and collaboration technologies.

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Specialist who can drive down costs, increase IT efficiencies, minimize risk, and provide clients with a competitive edge.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for problem-solving capabilities for incidents logged by clients and/or alerts from infrastructure monitoring. They will require attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, time management, and the ability to deliver against agreed KPIs and customer service level agreements.

The role involves supporting other colleagues in the team, acting as an 'in-house' escalation point, and becoming a mentor to the wider team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, primarily Azure and M365, and be keen to learn and develop their career in IT.

Key responsibilities include ensuring SLAs and KPIs are achieved, monitoring queues for incoming alerts and incidents, working collaboratively with team members to resolve client issues, taking ownership of cases escalated to Microsoft, and participating in post-incident reviews and lessons learned activities.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in IT, including knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Premium, Windows Server Admin, Exchange server admin, M365, Teams, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and identify problems and evaluate alternative solutions.

Azure IaaS, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Information Protection, SharePoint Online, Azure Virtual Desktop, SCCM, Mimecast, Netskope, VMWare, and SolarWinds: N-Able would be advantageous but not essential.

This role requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work collaboratively in a shared services environment. The successful candidate will exceed client expectations through quality customer service, manage relationships, communicate clearly, and demonstrate concern for quality, impact, and effectiveness.
