Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in an industrial setting, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.

In this role, you will work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities. You will also participate in ongoing training and certification programs to keep your skills up-to-date with evolving technologies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Repairs:
    • Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faulty equipment to minimize production downtime.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the frequency of breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting:
    • Use diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment, to identify issues in machinery and systems.
    • Analyze mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to determine the cause of malfunctions.
    • Perform emergency repairs and make adjustments to equipment to restore functionality.
  • System Optimization:
    • Monitor machinery performance and recommend adjustments to improve operational efficiency.
    • Work with engineering teams to optimize machine settings and processes for better productivity.
    • Implement improvements to machinery and systems based on observations and performance data.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety standards and regulations.
    • Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures when working on machinery.
    • Report safety hazards, incidents, or violations immediately to supervisors or safety officers.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including details of repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
    • Record parts used in repairs, and ensure that inventory levels are appropriately maintained.
    • Prepare reports on machine performance, downtime, and maintenance activities for supervisors.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities.
    • Communicate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and management to resolve issues quickly.
  • Training & Development:
    • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to keep skills up-to-date with evolving technologies and equipment.
    • Train new employees or team members on maintenance processes, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
  • Parts & Inventory Management:
    • Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.
    • Identify when replacement parts are needed and ensure timely procurement.
