Job Title: Food Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Bistro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, efficient workflow, and adherence to brand standards.

About the Role:

The Food Service Manager will supervise and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food items according to Marriott brand recipes and standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and coach team members to achieve high performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and participate in food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items.
  • Lead and train kitchen staff on food safety, handling, and preparation procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage and rotation of products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage daily prep lists, delegate responsibilities, and ensure timely food service during breakfast, dinner, and bar service hours.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop new menu items or seasonal offerings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment.
  • Prior supervisory or lead cook experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and coach team members to achieve high performance.
