Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Operations Lead to oversee the onboarding and cleanup of various projects. This role will also involve mentoring junior team members and ensuring that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date and efficient.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of financial processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Review and ensure the quality of outputs from junior team members.
  • Maintain and enhance SOPs, checklists, and process documentation.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for junior team members.
  • Effectively manage multiple clients and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably with a deep understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and financial cleanup.
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and financial software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to effectively train and coach junior team members.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
