Seeking a seasoned professional to lead, manage, and execute award submissions for top-tier national and international programs.

The Role

You'll help identify the right projects for the right platforms and craft submission packages that reflect the intent, innovation, and visual power of our work.

Responsibilities include developing an annual awards submission calendar, identifying eligible projects, preparing and managing award submissions, collaborating with design and marketing teams, maintaining records of submissions, and advising on photography and presentation.

Requirements include proven experience in managing architecture and design award submissions, strong familiarity with award platforms, excellent writing skills, ability to distill complex project ideas into clear language, comfort working with architects and creatives, and extreme attention to detail.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an annual awards submission calendar based on strategic relevance and deadlines.
  • Identify eligible projects, awards, and categories across residential and design sectors.
  • Prepare and manage award submissions — including image curation, text development, project storytelling, and online form completion.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing team to gather assets, photography, and plans.
  • Maintain records of submissions, deadlines, and results.
  • Advise on photography, presentation, and narrative positioning to maximize chances of winning.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing architecture and design award submissions.
  • Strong familiarity with award platforms: AIA, Architizer, Dezeen, Dwell, Interior Design Best of Year, The Plan, WAN, etc.
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for architectural storytelling.
  • Ability to distill complex project ideas into clear, engaging language.
  • Comfort working with architects, creatives, and photographers.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Portfolio of successful past submissions or awards won.
Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Experience with press kits, media relations, or architecture PR.
  • Background in architecture, journalism, or design communications.
