Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain baseline forecasts through statistical modeling and analytics for a full portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will use shipment history, historical events, and market trends to create accurate forecasts.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality baseline forecasts using established processes and current demand planning systems.
  • Analyze market changes and significant variances in the forecast, making recommendations for revisions and tactics.
  • Manage forecasting exceptions by identifying potential issues using exception reports.
  • Enhance business processes and improve operational efficiencies through analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Market Demand Planners and Marketing teams to understand the impact of market trends on demand and adjust the statistical forecast accordingly.
  • Maintain cleansed history in APO at the appropriate level and ensure a 24-month rolling forecast in APO.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on forecast misses and incorporate findings into corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate key process metrics and monitor adherence to KPIs while driving continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Supply Chain or Business experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PC-based applications such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and/or Access.
