Job Description

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for performing key activities including invoice processing, managing vendor onboarding, and handling mailbox management and vendor inquiry handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Reviews invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. Processes employee travel and entertainment (T&E) expenses. Ensures matching of invoice details against PO and receiving documents, ensures resolution of inconsistencies prior to invoice posting.
  • Manage Vendor Onboarding: Extracts relevant data on suppliers and defines an onboarding strategy. Validates the list of suppliers with local purchasing. Launches email campaign and monitors answer rate. Launches dunning actions when no response is received from suppliers.
  • Mailbox Management and Vendor Inquiry Handling: Manages emails received on dedicated accounts payable mailbox, ensuring that such are properly and promptly handled. Responds to vendors' inquiries, and address questions and concerns from vendors and internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and account statuses. Investigates and resolves discrepancies or issues related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts. Reconciles vendor statements/accounts and resolves discrepancies or issues. Generates and analyzes reports related to accounts payable activities as required.
