Business Intelligence Specialist

Elder Research, a fast-growing consulting firm, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Data Analyst.
The ideal candidate will have four years of relevant experience in applied research, big data analytics, statistics, mathematics, and other closely related quantitative or mathematical disciplines.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting insights from large datasets, preparing data for analysis, and presenting findings. They will also conduct analyses, studies, and assessments, and apply knowledge to evaluate the accuracy and reasonableness of data-driven recommendations.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Expertise with Qlik
- Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, and geospatial analytics
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and parallel storage/computing processes
