Global Cash Collection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Global Cash Collection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful cash collecting in a busy global AR team.

This role is responsible for efficiently collecting cash from customers worldwide. The successful candidate will work proactively with customers to facilitate timely payments and maintain positive relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume multi-currency ledgers, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships both internal and external, being aware of cultural and regional differences.
  • Handle queries and investigations, liaising with other departments to ensure swift resolutions.
  • Cash allocation, assisting with identification of payments and ensuring short paid reasons are identified and resolved.
  • Process final notices, working with internal stakeholders, taking appropriate levels of action in cases of non-payments.
  • Ensure all document processes are followed and DOA's approvals are adhered to.
  • Enable the business to meet its cash collection targets and needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in cash collecting in a busy global AR team.
  • Tenacious and professionally assertive.
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on exposure to accounting systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Self-starter and proactive thinker.
  • Experience working with legal ledgers.
