Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist to join our team. As an SQA Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality of software products.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create test plans, test scripts, and execute automated and manual tests to identify defects and improve product quality.
  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks to reduce test execution time and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing deliverables meet sprint and product release timelines.
  • Communicate test results and defect reports to stakeholders, including principal engineers, product owners, and Scrum masters.
  • Maintain awareness of external environments and trends in testing to contribute to process improvement and asset development.
  • Promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices, and train other team members on manual and automated testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and improve product quality.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
