About the Role

This is a remote contract position for those based in Poland.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can help our clients translate their requirements into functional and appealing interactive applications.

You will be responsible for building server-side components of these applications using cloud-based data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing data storage solutions, executing automated tests, and troubleshooting and debugging applications.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing and building cloud-based data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
  • S support system design, development and maintenance.
  • Assisting with defining structured practices.
  • Implementing security and data protection.
  • Optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining version control and build processes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience delivering at a Senior Data Engineer level in an enterprise environment. You should also have practical experience of developing real-world solutions and platforms, as well as a deep understanding of code and SQL.

  • Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience delivering at a Senior Data Engineer level in an enterprise environment.
  • Practical experience of knowledge of developing real-world solutions and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of code and SQL.
  • Production experience of Snowflake platforms.
  • Understanding of tools such as AWS serverless compute, Apigee, CloudRun and containerisation.
  • Understanding of security and performance considerations.
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
