Job Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to play a central role in designing, implementing and delivering key components of our infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise to lead specific infrastructure projects from initial design to final deployment and ongoing maintenance
  • Respond promptly to alerts, troubleshoot and rectify issues
  • Rid ourselves of manual tasks via efficient configuration management tools
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of infrastructure services
  • Collaborate with technology leads on developing, testing and implementing global standards and procedures
  • Coordinate vendor relationships for commercial services and tools
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • A solid understanding of the Linux operating system and command line utilities
  • Strong hands-on scripting skills in multiple languages such as Python, Bash and Ruby
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible and SaltStack
  • Experience with Agile development processes, secure infrastructure designs and deployment principles, infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code frameworks such as CloudFormation and Terraform
