Cloud Infrastructure Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Infrastructure Security Team.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure cloud infrastructure components that support DevSecOps objectives from day one.
- Responsibilities include:
- Enabling teams organization-wide through automation, secure defaults, and paved paths.
- Identifying misconfigurations, establishing best practices, and fostering collaboration while embodying GitLab's philosophy.
- Partnering with stakeholders to develop secure solutions for their infrastructure needs.
- Ownership of non-product infrastructure initiatives and deliverables within the team.
- Supporting enhancements to infrastructure security processes and tooling.
- Collaborating cross-functionally for architecture reviews and providing security guidance for new projects.
- Implementing visibility tools that enhance environment awareness and accelerate threat detection.
- Ability to own and deliver non-product infrastructure initiatives.
- Experience with automation, secure defaults, and paved paths.
- Strong understanding of cloud, container, and Kubernetes infrastructure.
