Financial Manager

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accounting software and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy. You will also prepare financial reports for management review and assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with project managers to track costs and profitability for construction projects. You will need to have strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software and excellent organizational and analytical skills. You will also need to have high attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with the construction industry and job costing is highly desirable. You will need to be tech-savvy with knowledge of cloud-based accounting tools and have strong English communication skills: reading, writing, and speaking.
