Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will be responsible for expanding our growing DevOps team.


Responsibilities
  • Respond to alerts, investigate issues, and identify root causes to ensure the stability and reliability of the SaaS environment.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including configuration, automation, and monitoring, to facilitate fast and reliable software releases.
  • Utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to containerize applications and scale them efficiently.
  • Manage cloud resources on the Azure platform optimizing cost, security, and performance.
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices for security, compliance, and vulnerability management.
  • Write scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand underlying requirements and implement infrastructure to support it.
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of major cloud service provider operations experience is required.

Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating a consumer multi-tenant offering is required.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SaaS organization is required.

Proven experience with containers and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes and Helm Charts) is required.

Experience designing, improving, and operating CI/CD release pipelines is required.

Templating and Configuration Languages for one or more of the following is required: Azure Resource Manager (ARM/Bicep), Terraform, JSON, YAML.

PowerShell experience is required.

Ability to work rotational weekend is required.


Additional Qualities

Familiarity with using artificial intelligence to support problem-solving, efficiency, and continuous improvement is desirable.

Experience maintaining, scaling, operating Elasticsearch is desirable.

Experience with NGINX is desirable.
