Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Research and Development team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our growing DevOps team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, cloud management, and containerization, with experience in Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using configuration, automation, and monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and implement infrastructure to support them.
  • Manage cloud resources on the Azure platform, optimizing cost, security, and performance.
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems and applications.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of major cloud service provider operations experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating a consumer multi-tenant offering, including handling alerts, troubleshooting issues, and identifying root causes during investigations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a SaaS organization.
  • Proven experience with containers and container orchestrations systems (Kubernetes and Helm Charts).
  • Experience designing, improving, and operating CI/CD release pipelines.
  • Templating and Configuration Languages: Azure Resource Manager (ARM/Bicep), Terraform, JSON, YAML.
  • PowerShell experience required.
  • Ability to work rotational weekend shifts (either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence to support problem-solving, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, operating Elasticsearch.
  • Azure SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with NGINX.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
  • Must be able to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Must be able to perform light physical work that includes lifting or moving objects up to 20 lbs or medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information, including conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly.
