As a Buyer and Planner Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all purchase orders are processed efficiently and that suppliers' promise ship dates are accurately loaded into our business system. You will also maintain an Inventory Projection Plan, monitor supply levels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth platforms and support operational pillars.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Releasing purchase requisitions, creating purchase orders, and sending them to suppliers.
  2. Reviewing open purchase orders, receiving order confirmations, quantity, and price acknowledgments from suppliers, and loading suppliers' promise ship dates into the business system.
  3. Participating in regular supplier engagement through Sales and Operations (S&OP) meetings.
  4. Maintaining and tracking supply levels in accordance with set targets and parameters.
  5. Reviewing and recommending forecast changes as well as ABC and SLD classification of assigned finished goods.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong drive for results, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related fields is essential, along with relevant experience in buying, planning, and supply chain management. Hands-on experience in supplier relationship management and knowledge of inventory management are also highly valued.
