Job Description

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively articulate financial results and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial data in Workday Adaptive Planning system for monthly forecasting and budgeting cycles.

They will ensure high-quality data across relevant systems by identifying and rectifying discrepancies or errors.

Additionally, the FP&A Analyst will support the analysis, review, and articulation of budgets and forecasts to cluster finance leads and business owners.

They will also analyze financial data, prepare reports comparing actual results against budgeted/forecasted results, and provide insightful commentary to director-level audiences.

Furthermore, the FP&A Analyst will assist with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and modeling requests within the FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data in Workday Adaptive Planning system.
  • Ensure high-quality data across relevant systems.
  • Support the analysis, review, and articulation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insightful commentary.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and modeling requests.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with practice experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and essential financial modeling experience.
  • Experience with Power BI, Workday, Sharperlight, or Netsuite advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
