Delivering Exceptional IT Support

About the Role:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the go-to person for technical assistance and troubleshooting within our organization. Your primary objective is to provide prompt and professional support to internal customers, ensuring minimal recurring issues and delivering exceptional quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to technical queries and requests from users via telephone calls and email messages.

  2. Log and maintain accurate records of customer/employee inquiries, analyzing possible causes of hardware and software failure.

  3. Identify and resolve computer hardware, software, and telecommunications malfunctions while ensuring data and system integrity.

  4. Conduct tests, configure, install, modify, maintain, and repair computer hardware, operating systems, applications, software patches, and updates as needed.

  5. Assist in conducting user application testing during program implementation, migration, and system maintenance.

  6. Perform desktop system maintenance/upgrades, including OS patches, and create/maintain documentation of instructional procedures and/or knowledge-based troubleshooting techniques.

  7. Maintain an inventory of computer hardware assets, peripherals, and software licenses owned by the company, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance of computer systems.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT / Computer-related course.

  • Knowledge of I.T. systems and equipment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair; vast working knowledge of I.T. requirements/demands in call center operations and corporate organizations - particularly in the area of Operations support.

  • Above-average problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent English communication skills - both spoken and written.

  • Adaptability to changing work schedules and working hours; excellent customer orientation and interpersonal, customer care skills.

  • Technical writing skills, with ability to document problems and solutions for customers and other technical support personnel.
