Job Overview

The Project Civil Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects related to waste management operations. This includes landfill cells, leachate collection systems, recycling facilities, waste treatment plants, drainage systems, dredging, and other related structures.

This position requires strong project management skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. The candidate must be able to coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3-5 years of experience in civil works, preferably in dredging, waste-management, or environmental engineering projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of waste-management projects, including waste collection, sorting, recycling, and disposal operations.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Licensed Civil Engineer preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil works; experience in dredging, waste-management or environmental engineering projects is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis, soil mechanics, and hydrology.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and waste-management best practices.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
