Revenue Accounting Professional

Your Mission

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Accounting Professional to ensure accurate, compliant financial operations with a focus on revenue accounting and automation.

Your Role

This position involves managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
  • Performing month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entry postings, and accurate, organized reporting.
  • Processing monthly revenue tasks, including reconciliations, posting of entries, and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and assist auditors as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of annual tax returns.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  • Support accounts receivable tasks, including contract uploads, billing, invoicing, and cash application.
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve billing issues.
  • Process monthly payroll activities, including payroll runs and payroll entries.
  • Assist with investor and bank reporting.
  • Manage emails effectively within our email system.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks, financial analysis, and process improvement projects as needed.

Requirements/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in accounts receivable, payroll processing, accounts payable, and month-end close procedures.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Knowledgeable in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Experience working with US-based companies.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
