Revenue Accounting Specialist

The revenue accounting team plays a vital role within the finance department, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  2. Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, adhering to ASC 606 compliance regulations.
  3. Manage and maintain NetSuite ARM to guarantee accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation efforts, streamlining revenue accounting operations and enhancing monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualification or progress toward certification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606.
  • Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and CPQ.
