Revenue Accounting Position Overview

The Finance department's Revenue Accounting team plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.

This key position is essential for managing the operational and technical aspects of revenue recognition, reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting regular monthly and quarterly closes.

Key responsibilities include assisting in monthly revenue accounting close activities, preparing journal entries, and performing critical account reconciliations, including those related to revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables.

Additionally, this role will assist with revenue reporting and analysis by monitoring customer usage, reviewing standard and non-standard contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition principles under ASC 606.

The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting experience, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to collaborate with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
