Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to assume key responsibilities in maintaining exceptional client care standards and preparing draft accounts for review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular communication with offices, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and prepare draft accounts from source documents.
  • Undertake larger Limited company accounts with support from senior team members, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Clear routine queries with clients in a professional manner, providing clear explanations and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare tax computations based on draft accounts, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Finalize figures for managers and prepare paperwork for clients to approve, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Deal with ad hoc client queries, providing solutions and support as needed.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Returns for clients using bridging software, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Provide general support to both clients and directors, responding to queries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Assist/support trainees with their queries and development, mentoring and guiding them towards career growth.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of [X] years' experience within an accountancy firm during training, with a passion for supporting clients through expert skills.
  • Experience in FRS102, One Man Band companies, and Charities is mandatory, with the ability to apply knowledge effectively.
  • Familiarity with IRIS, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and FYI Docs is essential, with the ability to utilize software efficiently.
