The Chief Nurse is a strategic and clinical leader who directs and oversees all nursing operations within the cancer center. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care, while also aligning nursing practices with the organization's mission, vision, and business goals. The Chief Nurse serves as a key member of the senior leadership team, acting as an advocate for both nurses and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for nursing services, ensuring it aligns with the overall goals of the cancer center.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. This includes developing and monitoring nursing-sensitive quality indicators.
  • Champion the use of evidence-based practices in nursing care to ensure the most effective and up-to-date treatments and protocols.
  • Create, revise, and implement nursing policies and procedures that comply with government regulations, as well as professional standards.
  • Manage the nursing department's budget, including financial forecasting and resource allocation for personnel, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure that all nursing care is centered on the unique needs of oncology patients, including symptom management, supportive care, and patient/family education.
  • Work to create a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php155, Php195,000.00 per month
