Engie Rinnovabili S.P.A. seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Business Growth Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in the Philippines.

You will report to the Managing Director and dotted-line report to the Regional Business Development Director, overseeing a team of project developers specializing in energy solutions, including infrastructure, energy efficiency, and district cooling systems. Your primary responsibilities will include generating new business leads, developing and closing projects, and fostering deep client engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, experience in closing contracts, and excellent relationship-building skills with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for leading and growing a Business Development team located in Manila and Cebu, comprised of Business Developers, Sales Engineers, and Marketing Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present proposals for complex projects to local and regional commitment committees for approval.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities with prioritization and relationship-building with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and grow a Business Development team located in Manila and Cebu, comprised of Business Developers, Sales Engineers, and Marketing Specialists.
  • Initiate, lead, and close investment-based energy projects through BOOT or PPA contracts.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, landowners, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure follow-up of existing and new key accounts at the C-level.
  • Liaise with regional teams in Singapore and Dubai, as well as worldwide counterparts, to leverage support, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
  • Jointly participate in the Executive Committee and support monthly management meetings and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical) from an accredited university; Master's Degree in relevant fields is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Leader leading high-performing teams with stakeholder engagements, business development, company finances, and business operations expertise.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the field of energy/utility infrastructure and services, energy efficiency, and district cooling plant operations in South East Asia.
  • Excellent organizational leadership, corporate governance, and operational management skills, with creativity and ability to inspire teams towards shared goals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Tagalog.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and goal-getting individual with focused determination and commitment.
