Bookkeeper and Virtual Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support our financial operations and general business tasks. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, prepare invoices, reconcile statements, and generate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management (50%):
  • Record and manage financial transactions
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries
  • Assist with tax preparation and compliance as needed
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks or similar software
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Compile financial reports for the Finance Director and CEO
  • Assist with knowledge base data management
  • Compile sales tax returns and submit them
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to complete state, local, and corporate payments
  • General Support Tasks (50%):
  • Manage emails and correspondence
  • Organize and update files, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Support administrative tasks like scheduling and calendar management
  • Assist with project management using Asana, Trello, or ClickUp
  • Follow up via email, chat, or phone
  • Conduct research and data entry tasks
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members as needed
