Senior Financial Leader

The Senior Financial Leader will oversee all financial aspects of the company's operations, including strategic planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare detailed financial forecasts and projections.
    • Provide expert guidance to senior management on complex financial matters.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Presentation of financial information to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability and sustainability.
    • Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital management.
    • Management of banking relationships and debt facilities.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
    • Management of relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
    • Provision of training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
