Job Title

The ideal candidate will develop and implement advanced predictive models to drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. This role will involve collaborating with experienced modelers to build innovative analytical tools using Python or R.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Predictive Modeling: Develop and apply techniques such as GLM, decision trees, GBM, and NLP to improve data-driven decision making.
  • Data Analysis: Manipulate data using R or SQL Server to investigate anomalies and summarize data for pattern detection.
  • Automation: Develop Python or R functions and SQL stored procedures to automate recurring tasks and streamline processes.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation associated with models.
  • Implementation: Assist in implementing and testing models to ensure successful deployment.
  • Visualization: Develop dashboards in Power BI to facilitate analysis and support modeling efforts.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in predictive modeling using Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with API calls and exposure to OCR, NLP, and image analytics is an asset.
  • A detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and excellent critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
