Customer Service Representative

This role focuses on providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers.
  • Work efficiently and accurately to manage sales transactions and balance the cash register.
  • Handle exchanges, refunds, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and organized.

As an entry-level position, this role requires attention to detail, trustworthiness, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to perform basic math functions, operate registers and scanners, and provide receipts to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect payments, make change, and handle credit card/debit card transactions.
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card terminals.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
