About This Role

This role is a key part of our data engineering team, responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our business operations. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data solutions that meet our business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, strong technical skills in SQL and Python, and a good understanding of cloud-based data warehouses. You should also be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python and Dataform
  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data-driven insights
  • Document processes and data structures to ensure maintainability and usability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
  • Extensive experience and expertise in SQL and Python
  • Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau), preferably Looker
  • Experience modelling data and creating transformation pipelines with Dataform or DBT
  • Worked with cloud-based data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, etc)
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating and supporting non-technical users
  • Autonomous, reliable, and great communication skills
  • Comfortable working with remote and distributed teams
