Cloud Data Engineering Specialist

About the Role

This is a key role in leading end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Data Engineer with strong proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Machine Learning.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain complex data pipelines using Azure services, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Factory and Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Design and implement scalable data integration solutions, including working with data from SAP and Salesforce.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability across all stages of the ETL lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer or similar role with focus on Azure Data Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in:

  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Azure Cognitive Services
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Relevant Azure certification: DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate) or AZ-305 (Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions).
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL development.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
