Geospatial Developer Opportunity

This is a mid-level Python developer position that focuses on solving real-world problems and creating solutions for operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain internal tools and scripts using Python to support operations workflows, including ETL processes for spatial data into relational databases like PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for spatial data.
  • Automate data transformation and processing pipelines.
  • Collaborate with operations and product teams to identify opportunities for tool development and automation.
  • Troubleshoot and support internal tools and workflows in both production and development environments.
  • Ensure code quality through version control, testing, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 3 years of professional experience in Python development. They should also have hands-on experience with geospatial tools, demonstrated experience in scripting and automating data processing tasks, and proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
