Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Japanese Translator where you will be responsible for processing KYC profiles in compliance with client policies and procedures.

The role involves conducting research, obtaining information from publicly available resources, screening entities for adverse news, sanctions or politically exposed persons. You will also process/prepare KYC profiles in accordance with the client's policies and procedures.

  • Conduct thorough research and gather information from public resources, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Screen entities for adverse news, sanctions, or politically exposed persons, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Prepare and process KYC profiles, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.

Additionally, you will monitor progress and status of assigned cases, escalating any operational, system, or policy issues immediately.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work extensively with various teams across global locations, utilizing your exceptional communication skills in Japanese and English to fulfill entity requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Excellent and accurate communication skills in Japanese (at least N2 or N3 proficiency) and English
  • Experience/interest in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Client (KYC) processes is an asset
  • Proactive attitude and initiative are highly valued
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient with Office applications (e.g., Adobe PDF, Word, Excel)
