Job Description:

Overview

  • This role involves leading the design and implementation of complex Pega applications, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of workflows, integrations, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Application Development: Design and develop complex Pega applications ensuring robust workflows, user interfaces, and business logic.
  • Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement strategies for optimizing Pega applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues applying advanced problem-solving skills to ensure seamless operation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Journey Experts (CJEs), Architects, and other stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective Pega solutions.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers sharing expertise and fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Pega development with a comprehensive understanding of Pega rules, classes, flows, and data structures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Pega Platform Architecture and design principles.
  • Expertise in Pega integration patterns and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in Agile / Scrum / DevOps projects.
  • Have great analytical skills and have a conceptual / architectural understanding.
  • Experienced working in a complex, regulated environment such as a large financial institution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of extensive experience in Pega development.
  • Pega Certification: Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) / Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) – preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing and a good communicator in general.
  • Able to bring all ideas/opinions to one conclusion to help make decisions.
  • Up to date with new Technology and have a deep understanding of when to use it.
  • Humble in approach and not afraid to be wrong.
  • Proud of what they do and enjoy sharing this with your external network.
