Job Description

The role of an Estimating Head involves overseeing the estimation process for construction projects. This includes studying and reviewing plans and bid documents to provide detailed estimates, measuring quantities, and creating detailed estimates in Excel files.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bid queries and clarification with consultants, requesting quotations from suppliers, developing bill of quantities and costing, analyzing costs and project schedules, and finalizing technical proposals and financial proposals with the president's approval.

They will also attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings, conduct site inspections, supervise estimators, QSs, and assistant heads, participate in negotiation meetings, establish project budgets, maintain organized records and files, and organize kick-off meetings with project teams.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil).
  • Professional License as a Licensed Civil Engineer is required.
  • More than 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, and estimating.
  • Experience in managing managerial positions in the same field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, including analytical, communication, presentation skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Results-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills.
