Job Description:

A Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the construction of housing units from start to finish. This includes managing contracts, implementing projects, inspecting quality, and monitoring materials and timelines.

The duties and responsibilities of a Project Engineer include:

  • Implementing and completing all work items related to housing construction, including billings, in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and target schedules.
  • Initiating requests and advising on matters related to housing construction that require consent or recommendations from the Project Manager.
  • Ensuring that construction procedures are properly implemented throughout the project.
  • Preparing quality estimates for additional works or change orders.
  • Preparing weekly accomplishment reports detailing the status update of housing construction.
  • Inspecting and evaluating housing contractors' progress and final billing for ongoing and completed work items.
  • Maintaining proper housekeeping and safety on all ongoing and completed housing construction projects.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure proper interfacing of activities.
  • Supervising subordinates.
  • Documenting, rectifying, and addressing concerns and defects in housing construction before scheduled inspections.
  • Providing advice to the Area Manager and Division Head on documentation requirements prior to commencing certain batches of housing construction.
  • Initiating coordination with estate management regarding inspection and punch listing of completed housing units.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Willingness to be assigned in Tanza and Naic, Cavite
  • At least two years of experience in a related role
