Purchasing Support Staff

Purchasing Responsibilities:
Procurement staff assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for various materials and services. This involves preparing and processing purchase orders while maintaining accurate procurement records. They also monitor stock levels and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking, as well as coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies. Additionally, they assist in negotiating pricing and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
Administrative Responsibilities:
The front desk receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, managing front desk inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate department. They also answer, screen, and forward phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt responses. Furthermore, they handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services, maintain an organized and professional front desk and lobby area, and assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scheduling meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management or related field.
- With at least 6 months related work experience.
- Strong customer service skills, including interpersonal, communication abilities and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and handle front desk and procurement responsibilities efficiently.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes or procurement software is a plus.
