The Chief Financial Officer role involves driving strategic financial leadership, governance, and execution to propel company growth in the digital finance and banking space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute overall financial strategies, plans, and initiatives for the organization.
  • Provide expert financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models to inform business decisions.
Regulatory & Compliance:
  • Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to statutory reporting, audits, and risk management processes.
  • Establish strong relationships with regulators, auditors, and financial institutions to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Business Partnership:
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team as a strategic partner, providing financial modeling, business cases, and ROI analysis to inform commercial decision-making.
  • Partner with business units to optimize revenue, costs, and profitability through data-driven insights and strategic initiatives.
Treasury & Capital Management:
  • Lead capital management, liquidity planning, and debt funding structures to drive business growth and minimize financial risks.
  • Nurture relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders to secure optimal funding solutions.
  • Build and lead high-performing finance teams, developing talent within the function and fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
  • At least 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services and fintech sector, preferably with exposure to digital banking or lending.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and experience managing regulatory relationships.
  • Proven track record in financial strategy, business partnering, and capital management.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
