Job Overview

This role focuses on the analysis and optimization of supply chain processes, emphasizing the integration of technology to drive business growth.

A remote position is available, catering to candidates in the UK or EU, where you will contribute to research initiatives centered around supply chain planning solutions, technologies, and emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and advise clients on Supply Chain Planning tools, focusing on selection, implementation, and execution strategies.

  • Research and provide insights on Consultant and Service Integrator selection for Supply Chain Planning technologies.

  • Support Gartner-wide research efforts by contributing to ideation on Supply Chain Planning solutions and technologies.

  • Develop and deliver presentations to large audiences, showcasing your expertise in Supply Chain Planning.

  • Collaborate with Sales teams throughout the sales cycle, providing valuable input and guidance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess significant experience in developing, managing, or using supply chain planning technologies and have a robust understanding of key planning processes such as Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning (DP), and Supply Planning (SP).

This experience could be gained through work in a large end-user organization, a consultancy, or within a Vendor focused on this space.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 8 years working in the supply chain or related fields in increasingly senior roles.

  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Planning, leveraging technology to support Supply Chain Planning initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by presenting to or advising senior executives.

  • A strong work ethic, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Effective project management and time management skills, allowing you to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • An appropriate bachelor's degree, preferably with a master's level qualification.
