Accounting Specialist Role

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to contribute to our domestic and international accounting and finance organization.

This role will involve working closely with our Accounting Manager and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who takes ownership of their work and seeks opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Prepare month-end close entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager on consolidations, reviewing financials, eliminations, and financial statement reports in NetSuite for external reporting compliance.
  • Manage business travel and expense platforms by ensuring policy compliance and accurate coding of all transactions.
  • Maintain the Company's fixed asset subledger and propose additions and disposals.
  • Analyze and provide commentary on monthly Balance Sheet and P&L account balances.
  • Support the billing department during month-end close and ensure payments are processed timely and purchase order exceptions are resolved.
  • Interact cross-functionally with department managers to support accounting team goals.
  • Contribute to critical accounting policies and execute annual financial statement audit by providing documentation and responding promptly and accurately to audit inquiries.
  • Support system implementations, technical accounting analysis, and projects as needed.
