About Us

Hitachi Rail is advancing rail signalling and safety solutions to ensure safe and efficient railway operations worldwide.

This role will be responsible for reviewing, administering, and monitoring subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with contract terms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Subcontract Agreement Supervision: Review subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Track subcontractor progress and evaluate variations or claims in line with contractual obligations.
  • Employer's Claims & EOT Cost Calculations: Quantify employer's claims for additional costs due to delays or EOT under the main contract.
  • Quantify direct and indirect costs arising from delays, including prolongation costs, disruptions, acceleration costs etc.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in subcontract management and handling claims.
  • Strong understanding of commonly used standard forms of contract.
