Senior Accountant Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our accounting team with expertise in technical accounting, leadership, and passion for solving complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the General Ledger Accounting process from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Controller on ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting.
  • Design and implement processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and system upgrades.
  • Participate in software implementations and cross-training initiatives.
  • Take ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience.
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies.
  • At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus).
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transaction management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining integrity and professionalism.
