Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee client accounts, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights. This role combines hands-on accounting work with leadership and client relationship management.

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with management and clients to address financial inquiries, resolve issues, and provide strategic insights.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting practices. You should also have experience with property management accounting software and excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. You must have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
