Chief Financial Operations Specialist

This is a remote role for a Senior Corporate Accountant located in Makati, with potential travel to site. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting operations, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, handling tax filings, and collaborating with internal and external auditors. Additionally, the Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for guiding accounting staff and improving financial processes for better efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Guide and develop accounting staff to improve financial processes
- Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Regulatory Compliance
- Skilled in Auditing and collaborating with auditors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership and ability to guide a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification is preferred
- Experience in the mining industry is a plus
