Operations Supervisor Job Overview
The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily activities of their team, ensuring seamless inventory management and staff training.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate follow-up activities to guarantee work assignments are equitable, and accounts receive timely follow-ups and collection goals are met.
  • Perform weekly QA reviews of their team's work to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of staff productivity reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide weekly updates on staff productivity to the AR Analyst, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Offer assistance and resolution to external and internal client inquiries, fostering strong relationships.
  • Prepare and maintain reports or logs as required, promoting data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with current healthcare-related issues and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Identify and address issues collaboratively with the manager and director, driving resolution and growth.
  • Provide training, monitoring, and feedback, as well as disciplinary action when necessary, to promote professional development.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and confidentiality at all times.
  • Monitor team attendance and PTO usage, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team, embracing a flexible and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure remote client access is disabled for terminated or transferred employees in a timely manner.
  • Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures, ensuring direct reports are trained and compliant.
  • Use, protect, and disclose patients' PHI in accordance with HIPAA standards, enforcing these principles among direct reports.
  • Limit PHI viewing to the absolute minimum necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • Report any security or HIPAA violations or concerns to the HIPAA Officers in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Allied graduate or background
  • At least 3 years of experience in a hospital business office setting or similar environment
  • Experience in Authorization, Hospital/Facility billing, and Home Infusion billing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be reliable, responsible, goal-oriented, and flexible
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills for effective communication with patients, co-workers, insurance companies, hospital staff, and clients

Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9PM - 5AM PH time
  • Work Setup: Onsite
  • Physical Demands: Occasional movement around the work area, sitting, manual tasks, operating tools, and computer peripherals
  • Mental Demands: Ability to follow directions, collaborate, and handle stress
  • Work Environment: Minimal noise level
