Embedded Linux Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux Solutions Specialist to join our team. This key role will be responsible for expanding our reach in mission-critical industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with customers during the presales phase to gather requirements and provide expert advice on Canonical technology solutions.
- Develop innovative solutions tailored to meet the needs of prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects related to Embedded Linux.
- Communicate market insights to key stakeholders and contribute to the development or refinement of generic solutions to unlock market potential.
The Embedded Linux Solutions Specialist will work closely with our team to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings and company events.
Requirements:- Fluent in Mandarin and willing to travel to China regularly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience with Linux distributions, preferably Debian or Ubuntu.
- Distribution/Packaging experience (deb, rpm, etc.).
- Solid embedded Linux experience with Yocto and Buildroot.
- Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust programming languages.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills, in addition to proficiency in the local language.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A personal drive to meet commitments, with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
Additional Skills That May Be Beneficial:
- Previous experience with customer engagement would be an asset.
